The ultimate comfort food dish! Super tasty with big flavour and spice!
Olive Oil 50ml
Ground beef ½ kg
Pork sausage 250 gms
kidney beans, rinsed and drained 2 Cans
Diced tomatoes 2 can
Diced onion 2 Large
Matso’s Chilli beer 1 bottle
6 bacon strips diced
6-8 Fresh chillies Sliced
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt to taste
Shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream and chopped spring onions, optional for garnish
Take a large pot & heat oil. Add beef mince and cook until it starts crumbling, stirring continuously. Add diced pork sausage & onion.
Add Matso’s Chilli Beer and bring to the boil.
Add all the remaining ingredients (except shredded cheese, sour cream & chopped green onions)
Cook on low heat for 90 min stirring occasionally.
Serve with grated cheddar, sour cream & spring onions.
