We crafted this brew with the hop goodness of an IPA and infused it with mouthwatering mangoes. There’s plenty of tropical and citrus notes from our special blend of galaxy, Amarillo & mosaic hops & this shines through its unassuming malt character.

This big thirst killing lager was inspired by a scourge threatening the local wildlife. Those two four letter words that bring both revulsion and loathing: Cane Toad. Long appreciated by the equally rugged people of Northern Australia, now you too can hit the Toad ice cold when you’ve been fighting the good fight protecting your own.

Monsoonal Blonde

A classic quencher for the hot tropical days, this beer pours well carbonated with a thick lacy white head and is cloudy, yellow colour in appearance. The beer displays significant notes of banana and clove on the palette and nose. Topped off with a generous helping of cardamom to add a pleasant spiciness to the mix. It almost smells like a chai.

Sow’s Ear Vienna Lager

Sow's Ear Vienna Lager

Medium, rich, malty body full of Vienna malt, with a slight bready toasty aroma. Low to medium hop aroma in accordance to style guides. Focuses more on malts and a clean lager character with little to no esters. Presents amber with clean, soft white head. Crystal malt character, minimal so not cloyingly sweet.Mouthfeel is medium with a medium-high carbonation.

Copperhead

The perfect beer for any weather, this new keg-only release is an American style IPA with medium fruit aroma from the mango. With a bit of green mango skin and berry on the nose, the hop aroma and flavours are strong while bitterness is quite high due to the dry malt finish. Hop aroma and flavours dominate and the bitterness is balanced by the fruit flavour and ensures the bitterness doesn’t last too long.

Rare Release

To celebrate Ginger Beer's 18th Birthday, Matso's have launched the Rare Release range of limited 500mL bottles, the first one being Rare Release: Ginger Barley Wine. With Amarillo and Citra Hops along with East Kent Goldings, this barley wine has been aged on oak staves soaked in dark rum, reinventing the Dark & Stormy with the four pillars of beer: water, malt, hops and yeast.
