Who is Diver Dan anyway?

Diver Dan is one of many souls of Matso's with an air of mystery about him. He is a pearl diver in Broome who loves beer but he does not speak. Sometimes he makes the trek down to Perth or over east to attend events with us. He loves posing for photos, entering races (click here) and dancing to Powderfinger (click here). 

Do you take restaurant bookings?

We only reserve tables for larger groups of six or more people. Come in and see us and we'll grab you a table. If we happen to be very busy, you can always have a beer while you wait. If you happen to see "reserved" signs on smaller tables, don't stress, these are the tables we set aside for you guys that are allocated by our waiting list during the dry season (April - October). 

Do you do gift vouchers?

We certainly do! You can purchase them at the bar, or in our online shop. They will have a unique barcode that is scanned at the brewery upon redemption, or the voucher can be used to purchase merchandise online. All vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase.

Can I buy your beer to take home with me?

Of course! We have the whole range available in Broome, as well as mixed 6-packs we like to call "Broome in a Box". If you have run out of room in your bag, you can find your nearest Matso's stockist here.

Can we do a Brewery Tour?

Brewer Prav gets chained to the brewery most of the time so we like it when people book brewery tours as it lets him socialise a little ;) 
Tours run Wednesday and Fridays at 11am and include a tasting paddle of beer afterwards. Tours are $35 per person. Why not hang around and stay for lunch too? 

Do you have live music?

During the wet season (November - March) we have live music in the courtyard on Sunday afternoons from 2pm -5pm. In the dry season, we like to crank it to Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays! There is nothing better than some share platters, beers and music to top of your weekend (or weekday, whatever floats your boat). Do you have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options?

Yes, we do! Please check our restaurant page for our updated menu. If you have any other dietary requirements please let a staff member know upon arrival, or contact us before you travel and we can help you out as best we can.
