Shop from 20+ stalls providing pre loved heaven whilst you have a drink from the bar + listen to live music. A carpark FULL of pre loved clothing, live music, a bar AND a beautiful play area for the ankle biters!? Not a bad way to spend your Sunday if we do say so our selves ✨
Thrifter is both a permanent market warehouse and a pop up market event that was created as a way for community members to sell their pre-loved clothing. The significant issue of landfill and waste generated by fast fashion is deeply troubling. As the cost of living rises, it is VITAL to take proactive steps towards establishing an environment where our community can purchase clothing without exacerbating the pressing climate change crisis. Thrifter is an initiative that hopes to bolster the financial well-being of local families by reinvesting money into their wallets!
